A VISION of NEAR-FUTURE END-TIME THINGS to COME

Humanity today is facing staggering crises of war, disease, pollution, drought, famine, and moral decadence that will eventually climax in Armageddon.

The modern scientist, businessman or even the theologian cannot see prophecy fulfilled in history, or even in world affairs today? Mankind fails to fully grasp the absolute reality of the

words by the One True Living Almighty God as revealed in the Bible. It is Almighty God who stood in the flesh as the man Jesus as he spoke words filled with prophetic significance; and he is the same Almighty God who earlier and later later gives insights to mankind's future.

Almighty God (Father) as Jesus (Son) will return to this earth at the time when his Second Coming will make the difference between life and death for the human race. The Bible is the only true source of revealed knowledge about who Almighty God is and the significance of his return to this earth. Most of mankind's ideas and speculations about his return are sheer nonsense, based on nothing but guesses and vanity!

Who will save you from this near end-time world-suffering when it becomes commonplace? If you believe it will never happen where you live because your government and modern technology will save you, then you will become just another burial

statistic. Will the armies, police, social security and health care systems indefinitely insulate you from impending foreign and domestic terrors? If you are an American, a Canadian, a Britain, an Australian or a resident of one of the comfortably wealthy Western powers, take note: fiscal irresponsibility on a national scale presages a clear decline in future prestige and power. If your country has to cut back because of falling income and debt, how will you individually be affected? Is it really all "blue sky" up ahead? Or are there storm clouds on the horizon?

The Bible reveals that man's technological knowledge will be vastly increase just before Jesus returns. It will also be a time of mass travel and large movements of immigrants. Despite the boom in technological ability, mankind still can't get along with each other! The last days are described as "perilous times" - times of crass materialism, moral degradation and false spirituality that denies the power of the one true Almighty God of the Bible. Does this description fit our present Western civilization?

Consider the alarming variety of crises that will face a bewildered humanity. The world's supply of good food and clean water dwindle, horrendous storms, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, plagues, massive flooding, drought, disease epidemics, ethnic tensions,

unemployment, and pervasive urban crime will cause chaos and millions to face starvation. These upsets will exact staggering financial tolls, bankrupt many insurance companies, further drain international and local disaster relief programs, and cast insecurity over once-peaceful communities.

Militant Islam (part of king of the South) is preparing for war! Muslim extremists are galvanizing hundreds of millions of people in opposition against Western democracies (king of the North). Yet the West does not understand that it is the ultimate goal of radical Muslim leaders to "conquer" the world in a sense that all human beings either become Muslims, totally submit to Muslim domination or ultimately be wiped out! They cannot recognize soberly that the world is, indeed, at war. The Bible prophesies that a coming "king of the South" will push against a resurgent European (EU) Empire, providing world shaking end-time events.

Keep watch for a resurgent EU that will not be like a weakening America and will become the forefront of the fight against expansionist Islam. Unified since January 2002 by a common currency (the euro) the nations of Europe will become increasingly eager to intervene globally where they believe the U.S. is failing, whether it be the "war on terrorism" or in the Middle East. When all these trends combine, they describe a vision for near-future world events that are shaping up as described in Bible prophecy!

And the horrors of 9/11/01 attacks in the U.S., and 7/07/05 bombings in Britain, continue to remind us that increasing terrorism will greatly exacerbate all of the above problems! Yet all of these problems are just the beginning of the prophetic near-future as the world continues to face nuclear proliferation on a truly massive scale.

Does God mention a future USA and UK? Almighty God promised Abraham that his descendants would be as the sand on the seashore. Later he told him that his descendants would also include "a nation (USA) and a company of nations (UK)." Abraham passed these promises to his grandson Jacob (aka Israel) and Jacob to his grandsons Ephraim and Manasseh. It is a fascinating story, too long to tell in this blog, but the facts are there. After the death of King Solomon, Israel and Judah became separate nations and are still separate today! Israel was conquered by Assyria (whose descendants are the modern-day Germans), and then Judah was conquered by Babylon (whose descendants are part of modern day Iraq). The modern-day nation of Jewish Israel is really the descendants of the ancient southern kingdom of Judah (aka Jews) who returned. The northern kingdom known as the ten tribes of Israel lost its identity and is now dispersed or "as the sand which is on the seashore," in other words they became the descendant U.S., British Commonwealth with Canada and Australia, and much of northwestern Europe. The Biblical and historical (secular) evidence is there, though many prefer to ignore it.

Prophecy pictures a political, economic and religious system that will rise up in end-times and impose a "yoke" upon the physical descendants of God's people. The Bible uses symbols to illustrate concepts such as the described future federation or empire and false system of things. It is in Continental Europe where this false system will rise again for the last time! This system will have the form of a "United States of Europe." a European Empire, which will undoubtedly be dominated by a governmental system that consolidates power in the hands of a few key players in Europe and has an official connection with a powerful religious influence (watch Germany and the Vatican)! God used ancient Assyria to punish the northern ten tribes of Israel. In the end-time God will use the descendants of ancient Assyria, the Germans, together with the prophesied revival of the EU/Holy Roman Empire system to punish his wayward, sinning descendant people of the U.S., Britain, and Canada. These descendants of the patriarch Israel will be punished for their sins, just as surely as their ancestors were. The Jews, too, along with the other remaining tribes of Israel and the Gentiles who live among them, will also receive their share of punishment at the same time.

We are now near the end of 6,000 years of recorded human history since Adam and Eve. It will soon be time for God's Kingdom to be set up on this earth. It is easily within the parameters of Biblical chronology for the first 6,000 years of human history to last for as much as another 20-30 years. However, with prophetic events now accelerating, be warned that it can be much sooner than that! It will be a time such as not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever will be. And unless those days are shortened, no flesh would be saved. It will be during this end-time which mankind learns the lesson of human suffering to show the great lesson that mankind's ways are wrong, that humanity apart from God does not know how to live in peace and happiness.
